Asbestos survey and the presence of asbestos in structures

Asbestos has most commonly been used in bathroom floor and wall structures, flooring materials, adhesives, leveling compounds, and pipe insulation, but it may also be present in wall surface materials. Asbestos can therefore only be found in building materials used before 1994.

As required by legislation, an asbestos survey must be carried out in all buildings constructed before 1994 in connection with renovations, always before any demolition or repair work begins. During the survey, our experienced specialists identify any asbestos-containing materials, determine their type and quantity, and provide clear and practical recommendations for further action.

According to the law, the party commissioning the renovation is responsible for ensuring that the asbestos survey is conducted.
